These Murals were painted by Rick Twohey 3 RGJ on to the walls of the Cookhouse in Trenchard Barracks in Londonderry. There was some Politically Correct debate at the time and due to the fact the Army employed civilians on its barracks it was deemed a bit showboating to have victory memorabilia plastered around the place and the pictures were overpainted.
To give you some idea of scale, the floor tiles are 9" square.
